Dear Reader,
After taking English 101 and English 102 I've learned multiple things about myself and my writing.
1. Be yourself and do what is best for you when writing.
2. Be confident in the information you are writing about.
3. Always make a cover letter, even when it isn't required.
4. Writing will never be perfect but use references like Purdue Owl to find the answers to your questions.
5. Peer revision is key to identifying mistakes.
6. Have fun and learn who you are as a writer, even though it can be stressful at times.
The experiences I have had in both of these classes have helped me understand the difference between a high school essay and a college essay. These classes will help me in the future by helping me understand what a college student's workload looks like, how to manage my time, and different ways I can portray my information. I have learned many life lessons and created many memories with my professor and peers that I will cherish forever.
Thanks,
Kaiden Finck
